Here we mentioned all pros and cons of the app along with all possible questions but for any kind of help, questions, suggestions or anything, please don't hesitate to send us an email. We will try our best to resolve the issues and include your questions on this page so that it will be helpful to other users as well.

With links, you can download only public videos. To download private videos, you need to login to your Facebook account. Please also note that some of the public videos also required you to login. Without login, you cannot browse it.

When you paste URL or share the URL to the app and click on ‘Download’ button, it will be redirected to that video page. You can click on that video to download, but sometimes it starts playing instead of download option. In that case, pull the page to refresh the content and then click on the video to download that video. If still not works, please report to us with video URL.

Sometimes, for some videos, facebook expect you to login to get all possible video quality options. So, if you face this problem, please login to your facebook account and try again.

If you are not able to download correct video, please long press on wrongly downloaded video, and click on Report Error. We will get back to you as soon as possible if anything can be done from your end or else we will fix that issue and provide that fix in new release.

You can download the video using direct video/post URL or you can login to your facebook account in app and browse through that video. Simply click on that video and you will see options to download that video. You can also copy or share the video link from Facebook app and paste it in URL section of the app and click on Download button. OR you can also share that link and choose Fitty Downloader app from the list of the app.

Sometimes on Facebook page of the app, you may not see login screen properly loaded. In that case, please click on option menu from top right corner, click on Clear Cache and confirm the message. Note that this should be last option because if will wipe all of your browser cookies and settings of this app. After that, close the app and re-open the app again.

This is not ideal scenario and not happened for all the users. But if you logged out and logged into account again and again, Facebook may block your account for security reason. In that case, you don't have to worry about it. Please follow the onscreen instructions and you will be asked to reset your password. Once you reset your password, everything will work as expected. To make you sure, app is not doing any unusual activity, we taken care of privacy and security of each user. So be rest assured and use the app.

We tested with all possible scenarios and taken care of app quality, but sometimes it may happen that you may get wrong video. To prevent that, please watch the video first and then download it. If you get wrong video, simply delete it from Download queue and try again. If still you are getting wrong video, please report us by long pressing on video from Download screen.

This is the known bug of the app. When you download videos in quality other than SD/HD, you may face this issue, not for all videos. In this situation, video can be played and shared with anyone. There is no problem in that but while playing, playing duration and total duration in built in player is wrong. Even you cannot seek backward and forward properly. That's all.

What if there is no audio in downloaded video?

When any user post multiple videos as single post, you can not download it by simply clicking on it. When you click on it, it will start playing. So, to download such video, click on 3 dots available on bottom right corner of the video and click on Download button. After that, app will ask you to choose download location where you want to save this video. Please select the location where you want to save the video and click on Save button. Make sure that such videos are downloaded directly and you will not find that video in Download screen.

To download your friend's stories, you have to login to your facebook account. Once you logged in, on URL screen, your friend's list will be shown. Click on any profile pic of your friend, you will see the list of stories of that friend. From here, you can click on plus (+) icon available on bottom right corner and click on Download icon. It will be saved.

Once you save any story, it will be available in Story Gallery. Click on View Gallery to see all saved stories. Here, you can do many operations like sorting based on name or updated date, you can find friend name, you can delete all stories by long pressing on particular friend and clicking on delete icon from top right. Same way, you can go to friend's gallery by clicking on friend list and you can also delete any stories by long pressing on stories.

As mentioned above, multiple videos in single post need different treatment to download. But in case of single video and if it starts playing by clicking on it, please report us the problem. We will take care of it as soon as possible.

By considering user's privacy and security, we are not uploading or processing any piece of data on our server. Everything is handled and processed in your local device, and Facebook is changing the way how videos are being downloaded frequently. So as and when it needs to be changed, we have to make change in our app and you have to download the latest app so that you will always have bug free app.

Please go to app Settings and turn on Dark or Light mode.

Sometimes app may not be able to fetch the correct video so in this case app shows video size as 0 or -0, in this case please don't download the video. Just ignore the result and try again.

In some devices it may happen. In this case, please play particular video only or move back and forth and come back again to that video and problem will be resolved.

There are multiple ways to contact us or report an error. 1. If you face any problem in video download or related to it, go to Download screen, long press on any video from list, and click on Report Error. Then add your error description. Please don't erase anything which is pre-populated in compose email. 2. If you want to contact us for any other issue, go to Settings and click on Contact Us. Write your problem or error description and send us an email. 3. You can directly contact us on our email address [email protected]

Due to new changes in Android 11 and above, and due to security and safety concern, app is not asking for any storage related permission. To respect Android ecosystem and privacy of users, we are storing all downloading media in private directory of the app. There are many advantages of it like no any other app can access any stored media private to this app. You can also maintain the privacy of your downloaded media. You can check where all media are being downloaded by going to Settings, click on Downloads. You may browse to that directory using file explorer but again depending on file explorer and android OS, you may not be able to go to that app storage directory. Please note that, don't delete anything manually from that directory using file explorer, otherwise app may not behave correctly. If you want to use any video, please do so from withing the app only like Delete, Share, Watch the video etc...
